Needless to say, I'm actually proud of what I have achieved. Proud but not arrogant, I need to achieve more. I don't think I've done enough for myself to be proud, but yeah.

Its almost the end of the semester. Now all i got to do is clear the last hurdle. A very tall one indeed. Finals.

Well at least i am done with my senior design CDR and my math final. Dang. that math final was badass. Could've sworn the last two questions were not on any paper or homework i did. Hope the average on this one is bad, at least an A- would be good for my GPA.

Nevertheless, thermal tomorrow. I hope i can nail this one. I seriously need to not drop any more points. I have dropped one too many already. Last DASH !

Trazzle was held today. Me,Nic,Jon,Zhen John,Ui Tee,Jiayang was TEAM AWESOME.

Its some treasure hunt kinda thing. sooo first, we were blindfolded and was supposed to be scattered around in the basketball court. The goal is to find your teammate. and huddle up and tie a rubberband on your hair. okay we looked pretty funny. ANYWAYS. once the challenge started. UI TEE ran towards me. grabbed my hand. and we both RAN across the basketball court. to our AWESOME teammates who were already huddled up at the starting point. BOY were we AWESOME or what, well the trick is. WE COULD SEE. HAHA. welll ANYWAYS.

next task. eat a damn watermelon. damn primitive okay. Zhen John cracked the watermelon against the sharp edge of the table and tadaa. he RIPPED it apart. and split it among us. ui tee was damnn ganas. he looked like he was raping the watermelon. he threw alot into the gutter though. another skill of his. classic.

anyways. the clues were CONFUSING okay. ahaha one thing team AWESOME didn't do was.. actually got a clue right. well we're still AWESOME. shuddup.

the first station after the watermelon raping session was eating of some shit stuff la. they gave us like lemons, garlic, and a big onion. and biscuits. LOL. innocently. i took the biscuit and took a huge chunk outta it. littled did i know. it was layered with damn wasabi. seriously. imagine the shock. i was waiting to go into the overdrive mode...but i didn't! some pretty mild wasabi they have there. well LUCKY me.

ui tee and the rest on the other hand. were busy. stuffing em pockets with garlic and onions. hahaa while pretending. they were awesome okk. we barely ate anything. HAHA. but we got caught la. SADLY =(. JON LA.. tak pandai. someone spotted him throwing something away.

anyways. after getting lost a few times, we finally found the location of our next station..well by way of calling the one other team.. tung yang helped us. THANK YOU! mucho GRACIAS. anyways seriously we were bad at clues. the next one we were pretty lost. actually we're supposed to like you know sing to one of the commitee members. but we were searching for his whereabouts, not knowing that he lurked among us. DAMN IT.

we started huddling up and surrounding them commitee members. FINALLy after 3 happy birthday songs ( we were suppose to cheer this supposedly EMO commitee member up and get the next clue) we finally got the right person. THEN! he said. i'm not satisfied with your singing. so we changed our song to the mingle song. and while doing that. we literally HUMPED that person. and he got scared. HAHA. well imagine a bunch of sweaty guys grinding you. eww.

ANYWAYS. LOL. okay next clue is go print some number. took us a while. then we were told that we printed it wrongly so we had to do a time penalty. ish.
basically we have to tie our legs together. and walk to the other end. ahhhh how creative right. IT HURT OKAY. damn . our coordination was ZERO. ahahhaa.

and in the end. we got a 3 minute time penalty. for throwing the food away. =P

HAHAHA. andd guess what we got. 5th outta 6 teams. anddd we got a damn watermelon for that. ridiculuos okayy. lucky jon managed to swap it with the other groups prize. cotton candy. haven't had that for a VERY VERY LONG TIME.

it tasted... so sweeet.=)

Today we went back to high school to play football! Catholic High School. AHHHH.good old times!

Just this past saturday we had our guy sausagefest!! it was a full day filled of actionpacked gay action. errr not exactly gay. but yeah. gay.

anyways! i actually woke up at 7am and headed over to subang to get them clowns, joshan, ui tee, and zhen john.

after some detours and many lies being told over the phone by cheah ui tee.

btw PLEASE JOIN the DONT TRUST CHEAH UI TEE group on facebook. he is a professional conman. 99.9999% of the time cocker.

anyways nic was waiting for us at the jusco near federal highway in klang. SO when we were in subang ui tee told nic 5 mins. LOL. wtf subang to klang 5 mins. thenn on the way there. we weren't even at jusco, ui tee said we were at a wrong jusco. the other jusco in klang. and we were on the way. seriously con man ok.

little did we know, upon arriving at the correct REAL jusco, nic's mom and dad was there with him. imagine the embarressment. WTH.

anyways nic's mom thinks that i dont really have a sense of direction. THANKS TO CHEAH UI TEE. hahaha. i guess my sense of direction has really deteriorated over the course of my stay in the states. i took the wrong turn on the way back to subang. and we were basically headed to ipoh before i made the U-turn. hahaha. shit.

anyways we were in klang for bak kut teh. aaaahhhh. paradise. klang bak kut teh. the aroma of tea and the scent of bak kut teh. the murkiness of the soup, the tenderness of the meat, the thousand and one flavours that explodes in your mouth in moment where the meat+soup+rice blends in your mouth. one word to sum it all up. ORGASMIC.

in short. we were in FTZ. hahaha. okay lifeless i know. sharrap. its our guy time.

shortly after that we headed to my place in Bukit Jalil.

jon brought his baby. and the guys made sweeet sweet love with his baby.

everyone looks pretty jaded. they were playing streetfighter. upon seeing girl characters fighting it out on screen, the guys will somehow you know be more attentive to the action going on.

then it was back to my place for some seriously hardcore gay action.

during that time we played monkey with a small little ball which went missing then using my futsal ball we played rugby. HAHA. it was seriously FUN. got strategy all.

we were in the pool from like 6-830.

Went down to malacca this morning. Half day trip! See my aunt makes this awesome nyonya zhang's every year during "zhang" season. WHATEVER YOU CALL IT. LOL. i know i'm pretty bad with festivals. So yeah. my mom's colleague's at work are absolutely hoooked on them! so today me and my dad are going back to collect about rm 250 worth of zhang. =D

shit i was DAMN sleepy for some reason. i remember crashing at about 11pm. and APPARENTLY jon called me and asked me whether i wanted to go to KL with him and VG. LIKE WTF. imagine the shock. i'm like shit tak ajak. and he said . i called you la. LOL and i'm like WTF. i really had no recollection whatsoever. i woke up groggily about 8am and hastily brushed up and left home! thennn i was engaged in some small talk with my dad for about five minutes. and i blacked out. LOL.

i woke up to the hustle and bustle of malacca town. again. no memories of journey. either my brain has stopped functioning or i'm just TOO DAMNED GOOD AT SLEEPING. anyways. we went to have dim sum at some hawker centre. my dad loves this place for its "dai bao" . so we were seated at a table for about 8 so we were sharing with this two old guys.

ordered dim sum and seriously i couldn't help but watch the drama unfold right in front of my eyes. this lady obviously from mainland china (not trying to discriminate her. SERIOUSLY. LOL BELIEVE ME. YOU'RE THE RACIST IF YOU THINK I AM!! HAHA.) was trying to sell this old uncle a pair of slippers( AGAIN OBVIOUSLY MADE IN CHINA) . sooo she was you know. flirty flirty and all. damn blooody persistent OKAY. soo at first the old dood was like. nono. bu yao. what for i need slippers. then she was like. awwwww come on. AWWW. AWW.

sooo in the end he bought a pair. THEN. she walked somewhere around the corner. and grabbed another two pairs. and. repeated the same process. LOL. and can you believe it. LOL that old dood bought it again. WTH! THEN she came back with another pair. this time. its a different one. got NIKE. LOL. then she went on and on. andd LOL its so obvious she was like flirting and the old dood was flirting back. HAHA. then the other old dood beh tahan also. he bought a pair too. like OMGG. all in all i think the old doods together bought 6 pairs of flops. quote from horny old dood " if i buy sommore slippers i can open slipper shop and sell already ok. bu yao liao" LOL . after which he proceeds to buy another 2 pairs. the one that my group built was more awesome.AND THEY USED SUPERGLUE. ARGH i used some shitty glue that the professor gave and it took like 20 mins to dry each time. FAINT.

HEY people! gosh its been a while! i see you have given up leaving comments in my chatbox! gee i wonder why! i've been so active lately! come on people gimme something to show that there's still people visiting this barren part of cyberspace!

Anyways i'm actually blogging from the biomedical library. What a place to study! its awesome. has tons of computers around and its like open till 3am. Not bad huh! Its pretty quiet too! Its a frigging saturday night and i'm actually here friggin reading about wind tunnels, flow velocities, pressure etc etc. you get the picture! goshhh. I can officially announce that i have sucessfully made friends with 4 people! rawrrr that would be MR . bernoulli, The Wright Brothers from my mechanics of flights class and Euler whom i have reduced to addressing him by his last name as i now see him in two classes which is for my calc 3 and my aerospace class. Wheee. how exciting.

ohhh well! on the bright side.. spring break is coming! gosh i can't wait to just have ENOUGH sleep! i'm basically on overdrive mode now. Nevertheless i can say that i have sufficient ammunition to just get through this, and by ammunition i mean energy drinks. Welcome to America! the land of energy drinks and power bars. In Malaysia i think we have redbull, livita etc etc. Here the names get better. haha. My current favourite is NOS! as in NOS for the car..you know need for speed where it somehow somewhat increases the flow of oxygen into your engine so you can go faster! anyways thats not the point! hahaha . other names like MONSTER, ROCKSTAR.. ahahhaha those are energy drinks. likkeee whattt up! thank heavens that they are pretty strong..

Old Folks Home

Another one of the Rotaract outings. =D so far i've only like been to one. it was full of super fun =) this time we are going to an old folk's home in Klang.

well Klang is kinda my home town.

upon arriving, we were greeted by some veterans who were like in charge of that place. She gave us a GOOD SOLID head banging lecture about having to obey parents, respect them. Well here's the catch. It was all in chinese. My chinese listening/speaking skills certainly is not up to the standard. Plus! got so many banana's on site. ahahaha especially joshan and felicia. so had to like translate to them. It was fun.

they only accept old folks here that are without any children. and its all free of charge. They are sponsored by the public.

Anyways here's joshan with the cool uncle i met there. Damn. he con me. say he cannot speak english. i started out speaking chinese all the way, and then joshan showed up and they conversed in english. hahaha =D

anyways some of us also did some cleaning. thats Fel cleaning the fans. =D definitely a memorable moment. hahaha.

Turned out that some of the old folks there are excellent singers. so well we spent some time singing diffrent diffrent songs that often stop half way in the middle cause no one remembers the second verse. hahahahhaa.

well thats about it. after that it was their lunch so leftt.

before we left, joshan actually camwhored with one of the uncles. hahahaha. 64 and still young at heart.

Holidays are almost over. =( i got so super bored in the middle. i was basically ROTTING at home. oh well now that its over i feel sad that i would'nt have times that i feel like i am rotting away.

hmm so far it has been an excellent two weeks of doing absolutely nothing! life's little pleasures includes being able to sleep at any time, wake up at any time and not have to worry about doing ANYTHING at all in the holidays. oh right not to mention going out anytime =)

as i am like an absolute bookworm who totally adores books i was practically ecstatic to find out that TIMES was having a clearance sale at hartamas shopping centre! a whole load of books at fabulous prices and in an airconditioned shopping mall to boot! i scored like 18 books for below 200 bucks =) i was very happy with myself! whee. its still going on til sept1..this sunday!

andd it gets better! tmr is the MPH stock clearance sale at dewan komuniti bandar utama! err anyone know where it is? i have no idea. probably going with yan ming and mel so hopefully they know the way :D im in literature heaven!

sooo by now youve probably realised im obviously NOT yan ming :P he's supremely bored at home and i got tired of waiting for him to update so im doing it for him! whats new in his life.. hmm they're runners up for this futsal competition last saturday! err sorry i have no idea what it was called..i just know they came in second after totally awesome wins :D except the last but losing 11-8 is still pretty awesome right? 11-8 in a futsal match. like constant scoring? crazyy! right now he's like on his way to...a CC (of all places when he can use the com at home!) with a friend. he couldve gone fishing but noooo..

Ups and Downs

Life is full of its ups and downs, mountains and valleys, heaven and hell.

I've had a large share of this in the past 2 weeks. it is very taxing physically, emotionally and mentally.

Haven't been updating regularly. the semangat to blog has somewhat dissapated into the valley parts of my life. I shall attempt to shape this post into something melwin has done before.the heaven and hell part of life =)

we broke inti's football club history of not qualifying into the knockout stages of tournaments by qualifying for the quarterfinals and we made it to the semis.

hell

i screwed up. nuff said. we could've gotten 3rd.

life has been moving on. less emo-ing. more things to do.

my car got stolen. my mobility has been hampered greatly. please do offer me car lifts =) appreciate it thanks.

the parents have decided to grant me the replacement.. thanks dad and mom. =)

the car was supposed to be ready by today. however malaysian timing as usual. the car has not been sent for repairs at the workshop. as far as i know. so it'll be another crippling week for me. spoilt kid i am. bite me.

Simply Shoot FC

Simply Shoot . thats our team name. =) and we rawk alright. hahaha. its pretty ironic. hahaha cause we really simply shoot. hahahhaa.

we won the ICS futsal tournament. it was soo awesome. we really worked our asses off. especially for the semi finals. it went to friggin penalties. credits go to kar wei for sure. he saved 4 outta 5. damn awesome alright. and the whole team for working so hard. we were leading 2-0. then somehow it drew. then it was 3-2. then draw again. then we lead by 4-3. then they hit back. 4-4.

hahahahha. the funniest thing happened. first thing he said was. yayyy now got 30 bucks in my pocket. LOL.

finals was quite a breeze. justin, muzaar, sam and mogan went on a scoring spree.we won 7-0 =)

Two Weeks

last sunday we were at the MPO. malaysian philharmonic orchestra. okayyy .that was like my second time there. the first i wasn't exactly there, the first time , i attempted to sneak in to the hall. this time , i'm back with a ticket. hahaha.lamee.

anyways. this outing was for our music class. damn annoying i know. but overall it was a pretty good experience. i kindaof enjoyed it. urmmm the starting point. halfway through, it was pretty boring.

no pictures are supposed to be taken. hmm but rules are meant to be broken anyways. i managed to sneak a few pictures. like the whole time , there was this girl attendant that was sitting at the side of us.

it was really cool for me. my first time going to an ochestra. i should go more often. =) its pretty relaxing. hahhhh anywayyys. thats all for now. till then. chowchows.

Just recently, me vc and jboy went down to inti nilai. it was pretty funn i have to say.

finallly i can say that i have seen my national swimmer friend swim. hahaha. all my life knowing jboy, i really haven't seen him swim before. hmmm excluding the time where we went to sunway lagoon and the time where we played water polo.

this is my first time seeing him in a competition.. hahah after so many times of him watching me perform on stage.

miss chang. the ladyBOSS of inti. hahahaha.

okayyyy the dog can really swim. despite the lack of sleep the night before due to orientation night, he still bagged a few golds. hahaha he damn awesome okkkk! for dog standards la. hahahaha

where there's swimmers. there's always food. hahah got like 5 big boxes of cakes there okay. VC took like 6 bloody spring rolls. damn insane okk.

overall inti subang jaya was the champion. NOT BAD HUH. VC was holding the trophy, then he was like talking random people up telling them inti subang jaya rockk. LOL.

anywayssss. all my life i've never taken a picture with jboy .hahahahaha
now i do have one. =)

Orientation Night

Last Friday was the Inti Orientation Night 2008. It is meant for first semester students. it was AWESOME i have to say. it was organised by the Stact CLUB.

this is by far the most sucessful inti event ever organised.
kennard's band opened the show. the mic was screwed up. but the music was awesome.

the guards took a break and were there for the whole show.

The bunch of AUP people. can see jon tan in the picture. they shouting like a bunch of jakuns. haha.

Friggin hell. they invited some yoyo dudes. there were freaking awesome. theres this japanese girl apparently she's the WORLD CHAMPION. like wtff world champion in INTI!? hell yeahh.

Her moves were so swift. the yoyo's just seemed like balls of fire. damn awesome okayy

P'oan was in Malaysia for about 5 days. =) she's a friend i met from chiang mai thailand.

anyways. i didn't really get to spend much time with her. She went to genting with jessica. and i bet she had a blast there.

anyways we decided that a bunch of us would meet up for steamboat.=) p'oan specifically requested for steamboat. and steamboat is what she's getting

reagan recommended this bbq steamboat in sunway. It was really awesome. rm19.80 including drinks. Its a pretty sweet deal i would say.

The BBQ ham's and mantis prawns were AWESOME! hmm i barely had anything from the soup.
i just ate the stuff from the barbeque. it was really good.

The environment was pretty cozy also.

Jayson was the biggest eater that night.
