Yee ler! Super SAVER!

For those of you who know or don't know yee ler,

ini dia.mat rempit wanna-be! his motorcycle is seriously the coolest thing ever! and his helmet is just way way antique!haven't tried his motorcycle yet though.

well he is known as stat king, menteri kewangan( which means financial minister!?) and loads more other stuff that is more or less related to statistics and money.owh yah, he's a crazy photographer too , no camera no yee ler.he carries it everywhere and i'm serious about EVERYWHERE!

personally i feel yee ler would be a major sucess in the field of actuarial science.

okay here comes the good part.yesterday yee ler took me to pasar malam in his car.then,

on the way back to my house there was this slope going down all the way till my house.it wasn't too steep. Yee ler did something super hillarious and super crazy! he killed the engine.and he let the car roll down until it reached my house.

quote" save petrol money, 10 times do this can eat western already"

that was SUPER SUPER FUNNY! craaaaazy stuff!

we were like moving so slow, lucky there wasn't any other people on the road.

P.S yee ler ain't that calculative and stingy actually.just thought that it was really funny that he actually did that!

he's a nice guy !! agreed!? =D

Landmine musuem

Got some time to spare so quick update on my trip to cambodia.tons and tons to write about!!
One of the days during our free time, the group decided to take a short trip to the landmine museum which is about 15 mins from our place. our mode of transportation was "tuk tuk's" and boy i was lucky.the tuk tuk driver i met happened to work in malaysia for quite some time and was very fluent in speaking malay.never would i thought that this language would come in handy in cambodia.

and so off we go.on the way there he would tell me all kinds of stuff about siem reap.

one thing interesting was that, there are only 3 traffic lights in this whole town.in malaysia theres like TONS of traffic lights in a small town alone.oh well...and he said too that some hotels in siem reap cost about 600 usd to 2000 usd per night.pricey ain't it! how much a person is willing to pay to come see the temples and a big lake.oh well rich people only.

and by the way, if u see any pink lanterned places! don't go in okay!!.tons of karaoke place's around siem reap and i bet u're not just in there for the karaoeke machine.xD

okay now back to the museum part.this museum was started by this fella named aki ra.sounds jap but he ain't no jap.this dude goes around with sticks poking on the ground for landmines.and he has personally disarmed TONS of it.thousands i think.

history recap! see at that time, during the khmer rouge, pol pot's regime actually planted 10 million landmines in their own area for their own people to die.i heard that at the thai-cambodia border alone there is 6-7 million landmines left and 2-3 people die everyday from landmines.oh well, those are just statistics.

and one thing explained though..you know in the movies?where the hero steps on the landmine and hears a click.then he alerts his team and they replaces his foot with something heavy so that the mine won't explode. thats a whole load of hollywood crap. it explodes the instant u hear that click sound.
this guy was our tour guide for the trip. as you can see he was one of the victims as well.he explained alot about the mines, how did they actually kill and how did these people actually maximised killing.kill efficiency.

when the mine explodes, thousand's of small metallic ball's actually are released on impact and penetrates thru anything in their way which in this situation is the lucky person who steps on it.one thing bad is, they don't actually kill, but they actually aim to make you and amputee as you would see.

It's so hard to spot.BOOM bye bye me.and our tour guide also told us his story.

he was going out to the field's one day with his brother and sister.and then, he stepped on one.boom instantly.but ironically, he survived. it was his brother and sister that was killed due to pieces of mine that exploded and hit them.he was tearing when he told us that.

thousands of mines.

akira dude.the smiley face on the bottom right. mines are like trophies to him.ironically he was forced to plant them in the first place.now his trying to fix things.

thats nakata and aki ra.one's jap one's not.as a football fan, i'm impressed!

angkor of faith in cambodia

Our mission, to work and have fun with the street kids.these street kids will do everything they can to persuade us into buying their stuff.

Back from cambodia.this are some of the few interesting things i encountered there.
Heard of tonle sap?well we studied much of it in form 3 geography.i somehow thought it was clear waters, u could see the fishes and all.but what i got was this..

Milo water.it kinda smells bad too.but it's still the biggest lake in the world and no doubt about it, i couldn't see the end of it, it looked more like the ocean to me.

Rural cambodia..we were staying in the city which is the "illusion" part of cambodia catered to tourists.on the way to tonle sap, the real side of cambodia unveiled itself...

We took a boat ride to the floating villages on tonle sap.we saw schools on the way there, there was even a floating basketball court.they even have a floating police station too.

The interesting part of this trip to tonle sap well..umm the people who will try to sell things to you.they come in small boats and then cling on to the boat you're on then start selling drinks and banana's.Then there will be this kids in buckets asking for money.

pretty interesting huh?till the next post!

don't know what to do!

Back from cambodia, been slacking ever since. Been to class gathering, done my college application, and now one month to go till i start studying.Been thinking about starting work..but...argh! i don't know what to do! if i go to work, i get money, but it's BORING! i stay at home, i don't know what to do! CRAZY! maybe i should start bloggin about cambodia.haha yeah i guess thats what i will do! woohoo!

not happy

just got results.conclusion.not happy.

and today really did somthing stupid.okay me drew arthur and joe was in my car.we were about to leave ss2.till then only we realised that the trunk of the car was unclosable due to some sort of technical glitch.soo due to the constant harrassment of this hawker who was trying to set up his stall ( it was pasar malam night and my parking bay was supposed to be his "stall") so i decided to drive with that trunk open.

okay gotta send both tmn tun-er's home.not allowed to speed, rev, or stop suddenly and had to slow down at every bump.the trunk was like bouncing everytime we went over something uneven.arthur got so excited and he decided to trick me to execute the emergency brake as he wanted to see whether the trunk will fly up or not. he tried all sorts like squirrel crossing weihhh...motorist! WATCH OUT! haha i didn't get tricked by the way.sent them both home.

then gotta send joe home..this bugger keep pestering me to go fast as he was being flamed by parents and was in very very hot soup.so the trunk of the car was going up and down the whole journey.after sending joe home.and until i reached my home.only then i realised the problem was solved just by pulling the release trunk button at the drivers seat and reclosing the trunk again. that was just plain dumb! the trunk was like goin up and down and u could here the thumping sound as it went down and other motorists will be like what on earth is wrong with that car! the feeling of having a problematic trunk was exhilarating though.. i cannot predict when it would come up or maybe fly up everytime u braked or go over some bump.that was dumb.

anyways goin to cambodia tomorrow.be back in around 8 days.till then see ya guys!

it rained just awhile ago, didn't really noticed though.was kinda sleeping through the rain! enjoying the breeze from my beloved air conditioner, okay mom and dad really limits the use of aircon as the electricit bill is high bla blabla thats why if got rain den cannot on.so i'm suffering now.really feeling the effects of global warming..WHY IS MALAYSIA SO HOT!!!

everyone going overseas!! now jin get's to tell me about the wind there in NZ...everytime bugs me with it! the wind i have here in malaysia comes from my room fan which basically circulates the hot air around which does not make no diffrence...

by the way..anyone heard of the myth in KOREA!?it seems that..if u shut ur door.and sleep with your fan on..YOU DIE!!! how interesting! it's so much so the same thing as u drink alcohol and eat stinky durian ...and U DIE!!!
